For families who have suffered the pain of losing a child through miscarriage or stillbirth, the nondenominational Threads of Love offers a little compassion by providing internment gowns.Sheila Courchaine, Carmel, started the Carmel chapter of Threads of Love, a project with more than 100 chapters around the country. Her granddaughter was stillborn in March after being diagnosed in the womb with Trisomy 13, a fatal genetic disease.
