Another tiny footstep engraved in my heart

The results said that the baby was gone by the time I started spotting last week. A "missed miscarriage" - I guess my body didn't want to let go this time...

A 'missed miscarriage' is when the baby dies but the woman's cervix stays
closed, there is no bleeding and the baby continues to stay inside the uterus.
Some people also refer to this as a 'silent miscarriage'. A missed miscarriage
is not usually discovered until several days or weeks after the baby has died.

The Miscarriage

There has been a death in the family,
There has been a death in the family.

No eulogy, no coffin,
No funeral, no black.

And yet, there has been a death in the family.

No undertaker, no hearse,
No cemetary, no grave.

And yet, there has most assuredly been a death in the family.

No belly, no fullness,
No lifeline, no baby.

There has been a death in the family.

  2. I am so sorry for your loss. How can we regain our innocence and joy of pregnancy when we continue to go through these losses?
I don't know what more to say other then I feel for you.
For a really boring blog stop over and read mine. ;)
