There's no 'right' way to feel - a range of reactions are possible & normal. In addition to the grief you may feel, your body will be undergoing some profound hormonal adjustments, which may make you feel very emotionally volatile. If you have had a miscarriage, take the time to understand better why these occur & why it is not your fault.

While most pregnancies result in the birth of a healthy baby, every parent knows that unfortunately some don’t. The Chronicle’s life coach JAYNE GOLDSTONE talks openly for the first time about her experience of miscarriage.

In early September 2005, Clive and I were over the moon when we discovered that I was pregnant and expecting our child.

To say I was euphoric would be an understatement, remembering as though it were only yesterday how excited I was as this new chapter in my life was about to unfold.
